Dancers enchant, perform magic, conjure up friends and foes out of objects which tremble with rage, stomp out of spite and jump for joy. With lots of humor and accompanied by live-produced Asian soundscapes (from Kabuki and Beijing opera to Japanese pop), the trio takes the audience playfully into an emotional world full of magic, dance, music and clownery. The premiere of “Buckets of Feeling!” took place on 14. September 2014 at Barnes Crossing in Cologne.

The affair between Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton, the “nipple gate” surrounding Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, Gina-Lisa’s lighthearted “Zack, the bean!” and the rape allegations years later. The stories of these three women and their public shaming have been remembered by many through media attention. But how is female shame dealt with in public? The performers of Konnective deal with this question – lustfully, aesthetically and with high physical commitment.
To watch the performance, you need to have a minimum age of 14 years.

MOMENTOLOGY explores the moments between the lines. Caroline Simon navigates between humor and poetry, between the expected and the surprising, between the certain and the maybe. She creates the performance live in front of the audience.
Hoernemann&Walbrodt are invited to the premiere. Coming from the fields of visual arts and dance performance, they invite the audience to enter the space between expectation and reality and explore it together.
Accessibility: We offer a touch tour at 7:30 pm each night before the show – if you are interested, please include this in your email when booking your ticket.
